This simulation places you in the position of President of the small, unstable nation of Ritimba in 1983. Your tenure is expected to be short and fraught with difficulty.

You will face challenges from a corrupt secret police, a thuggish military, persistent guerrilla insurgents, aristocratic landowners, and disenfranchised peasants. Your leadership will be tested at every turn.

Financially, you may seek aid through loans from either the Soviet Union or the United States—yet each option carries its own risks and implications.

The question remains: can you navigate these tumultuous circumstances and secure a prosperous exile, or will your rule end prematurely in failure?
